Our Journey So Far

Anti Drug campaign SAY NO TO DRUGS

The first campaign of Reva was directed towards the youth who are throbbing with energy and potential yet are in constant risk of Drug abuse.Through the collaboration of entertaining rock bank performances along with expert demonstrations against drugs and substance use we conducted our first campaign “SAY NO TO DRUGS”.

AIDING THE UNAIDED

There are a section of people who are faced with disabilities and are often left to suffer due to unavailability of resources.

As a citizen of the country we felt it is our prime responsibility to contribute towards them and through motivation from Our prime Minister who has also coined the word DIVYANG to describe them in a more respectful manner, Reva has been trying to reach out and support the physically incapacitated in order to make their lives better. There are a section of people who are faced with disabilities and are often left to suffer due to

unavailability of resources.

We have provided 25 blind sticks, wheel chairs, mobility tricycles and hearing aids for the Divyangans and are regularly in touch with them to monitor the efficiency of the aids provided to them. Not only this we have also run campaigns to educatethem on the Govt schemes and initiatives.

In 2020 when the whole world was in the clutches of the deadly Coronavirus rendering innumerable people jobless and hungry across coronavirus during the food campaign of hope burning by providing basic food items to 1600 families spreading smiles and tears of Joy in the pandemic situation through their campaign “Beat the Hunger".

The volunteers also helped spread awareness to halt the spread of coronavirus during the food campaign.

Our Association with Goonj

In the current year 2024 we have partnered with Goonj as their

Implementation partner for several Social welfare activities.

Recently we all have heard of the devastated flood in Tripura which

has resulted in countless losses of life and affected household

especially in the Gomati and south Tripura district, The volunteers of

Reva has worked tirelessly round the clock to provide relief for 1800

families in the most affected areas distributing primary aid and flood

relief items such as tarpaulin, bedding items toiletries, reusable

sanitary pads, clothes dry foods and basic medicines.

Relief operations in the interior districts of Amarpur have been in operation

for the last three months, Here we would like to thank Goonj for their

immense support which made the relief drive a grand success for

Team Reva.

Our Best activities with Goonj

During our flood relief campaign we came in contact with Goonj for relief support when we

learnt a very important lesson from them. They taught us to include everyone in the

campaign including the people who are affected and are provided relief. In this way they also feel themselves as a part of the noble work.

In our recent work there were villagers in huge numbers who came in support with us for

constructing temporary bridges, roads and transporting relief materials among each others

which was something remarkable we experienced.

REVA SAMPOORNA SHIKSHA

There is no better investment a nation can make than education. It is an investment in economic development, an investment in opportunity and an investment in shared future and primary education is the first step towards the growth.

In this regard We came up with an idea to create an opportunity

for children with underprivileged background to be at par with all the facilities that a kid going to lavish play schools enjoy.

Reva aims at updating and enriching existing anganwadis into any regular lavish playschools.We are forever in gratitude towards Goonj and sampoorna shiksha for helping our dream come to reality where on 04/11/2024 we inaugurated our first anganwadi in chandinamura Location, West Tripura.
